Materials overview
Where no single pure metal answers the conditions, we design the composition.
Tungsten heavy alloy (W-Ni-Fe) keeps a density of 17–18.5 g/cm³ while securing machinability and toughness, and TZM and La-Mo delay the recrystallization embrittlement of molybdenum.
Key Property Values
These are the values engineers check first at the design stage. Actual delivery specifications follow the per-lot test report.
| Item | Value | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 70:30 · 55:45 | WCu | Composite for heat dissipation and electrodes |
| 70:30 | WAg | Composite for switching contacts |
| W 90 / 93 / 97% | WNiFe | High-density weights and shielding |
| — | WNiCu | A non-magnetic high-density alloy |
| La 0.3% | La-Mo | High-temperature molybdenum |
| Ti-Zr-Mo | TZM | Molybdenum strengthened for high temperature |
Figures are representative values. The thermal expansion coefficient is taken from published literature and needs review before release.
Key Advantages
How these figures translate into advantages in actual processes.
Density design
The W-Ni-Fe ratio sets the density you need within 17–18.5 g/cm³.
Machinability secured
It reduces the brittleness of pure tungsten, so cutting and thread machining are possible.
Longer high-temperature life
TZM and La-Mo raise the recrystallization temperature, extending heating element life.
